What is Grandet?

Grandet compares model API prices, model by model. Official prices, inference providers and API relays are listed separately, each with its unit, group and observation time, sorted from cheapest. It covers 1,864 sites and 529 models. Open the price boards

Is Grandet free? Do I need an account?

It is free and needs no account. The website, the HTTP API and the MCP server are all anonymous and need no key.

What is an API relay (中转站)?

An API relay (中转站) is a third-party site that resells upstream model API calls: you top up on the site and call models with the key it issues. Many relays run on New API or One API and price calls with multipliers and groups. Grandet collects the prices these sites publish.

How do official prices, inference providers and relays differ?

The official price is the model maker's own price. Inference providers serve models on their own compute and charge cash; aggregators such as OpenRouter are listed with them. Relays resell upstream calls and charge in site credit. Each model page lists the three separately.

How do I find the cheapest API for a model?

Open /leaderboard/?model=MODEL_NAME, for example claude-sonnet-5-5. The page shows the official price first, then the lowest inference-provider and relay prices. Agents read the same data over HTTP or MCP (https://grandet.ai/mcp).

How are prices ranked?

By price only. Each row is converted to a blended price per million total tokens: the default chat mix is 75% input and 25% output; coding is 20% input, 70% cache read and 10% output; long_output is 35% input and 65% output. The API takes a mix parameter for a preset or your own shares.

Are relay prices in dollars or yuan? Can I compare them with official prices?

Relays price in site credit: USD credit or CNY credit. What one dollar of credit costs differs from site to site, so credit prices are ranked on their own board per unit. Official and inference-provider prices are cash and listed separately.

What do lowest, gated and reference prices mean?

Lowest: the cheapest quotes within the freshness limit with no extra condition. Gated: cheaper quotes the site ties to a condition such as a top-up total, a membership or an invite. Reference: low prices that need a second look, such as a zero multiplier, a price far from other sites for the same model, or an older quote; each row gives its reason.

What does a review flag on a price mean?

The price is far from other sites for the same model, or its multiplier or unit looks wrong, so it is listed as a reference price. The reason is in the row's reviewReasons. Reason codes are explained in the glossary.

Why are some groups folded?

When a group says it only works in one client (for example "Claude Code only") and your target app is a different one, it is folded into one line. Say which app will use the API (the targetApp parameter) and matching groups are listed normally.

How often are prices updated? Are older prices still shown?

Prices are collected weekly and each row keeps its observation time. Quotes older than 10 days leave the lowest list and stay as reference prices with their date. This release's API prices were observed 2026-10-03 to 2026-10-17 (UTC).

Can I see how much cheaper than official a price is?

Inference providers and official prices are both cash, so the model page shows how much higher or lower each inference provider is. Relay credit prices are shown next to the official price.

What does 倍率 (multiplier) mean?

倍率 is a relay's billing multiplier. New API charges (input + output × completion ratio) × model multiplier × group multiplier; a lower multiplier is cheaper. Grandet converts it to a price per million tokens before ranking. Glossary: multiplier

What is a group (分组)? Why are group names in Chinese?

A group is a set of channels on a relay with its own multiplier; you pick it when you create a token. Group names stay in the original Chinese because you select them by that exact name; the English pages show a translation next to them. Glossary: group

What does "1:1" mean on a relay?

It has two uses: one yuan buys one dollar of credit, or the multiplier is 1 so you pay the official price. The site's context tells which. Glossary: 1:1

What are 落地价 and 实际倍率?

落地价 is the actual cost relative to the official price after the group multiplier and the top-up discount. 实际倍率 is the multiplier with the top-up discount included; when a site states one that differs from the listed multiplier, the actual cost follows it. 落地价 · 实际倍率

What do 官转, 逆向, 反代, 2api and Kiro mean?

They describe where a relay's supply comes from. 官转: claims to forward the official API. 逆向: turns the private interface of a web app, subscription or client into an API. 反代: resells API access through a subscription's or client's internal interface. 2api: a tool or channel that turns a subscription, web or IDE product into an API, such as kiro2api. What do 号池, 满血 and 纯血 mean?

号池: a pool of accounts called in rotation to supply calls. 满血: the site says the model is full-strength. 纯血: the site says its pool holds only genuine official accounts. These are the site's own claims; ranking uses price only. 号池 · 满血 · 纯血

What are New API, One API and sub2api?

They are open-source AI gateways commonly used to run relays. New API is a fork of One API that charges model multiplier × group multiplier; sub2api turns subscription quota into API keys. Grandet reads the pricing these sites publish. New API · One API · sub2api

What is 拼车 (carpooling a subscription)?

拼车 sites let several people share one subscription's quota and split the cost, often for Claude Code subscriptions. Grandet lists the public plans of 240 such sites on Subscription pools, in their original units.

What are 公益站 and 签到?

A 公益站 is a relay or group the owner opens for free or near-free, with credit from sign-up, daily check-in or redeem codes. 签到 is the daily check-in for a small amount of credit. These free groups are listed under Free credits. 公益站 · 签到

What does GROUP_RATIO_NOT_APPLIED mean?

The original expression component has not had the group multiplier applied; that component alone is not a final unit price. An evidenced group multiplier is applied when deriving the price, without multiplying it twice. Without an evidenced multiplier, the quote still needs review. This marker alone does not mean a derived price omitted the multiplier. Term explanation

Where can I find free LLM API credits?

Free credits lists 73 official free offers and 101 relay free offers. Each says whether a card, ID check, payment, invite or application is needed. Agents query /api/v1/free-credits by model or vendor.

How do I see only free credits that need no card?

Add userCanMeet=no_card to the API; for students use userCanMeet=student. Offers that do not say whether a card is needed are left out.

Can I use a relay's zero-multiplier or free group?

Groups with a zero multiplier are listed under Free credits with the conditions and dates the site states. Groups named free but with a non-zero multiplier are ranked at their real price.

How do I get Claude, ChatGPT or Codex to find the cheapest API for me?

Three ways: install Grandet Skill by telling your agent "Install Grandet Skill for me: https://grandet.ai/download.md"; add the MCP server https://grandet.ai/mcp (anonymous, no key); or have it read price-finder.md and call the HTTP API.

Does the Skill change my config? Where does my key go?

Where does the price data come from?

From each site's public pricing page or pricing API (for example /api/pricing on New API sites) and from vendors' official pricing pages. Each row keeps its source, observation time, original unit and original group name.

Why are there several site counts?

1,864 is every site in the register, including those that failed or had no prices this time. A model page's "N sites with comparable prices" counts only sites with a valid price for that model.

What if a model is not found?

Search the site's original name on Models; all 16,372 recorded names are searchable. For an ambiguous name the API returns candidates (NEEDS_CLARIFICATION). Names match regardless of case and spacing.

Can I see past prices?

Records holds 902,844 historical display records; earlier current quotes are kept by snapshot version here.

Can I download the data?

Each snapshot's manifest, source index and name classification are public JSON, linked from llms.txt and the AI index.

My relay is not listed. How do I submit it?

Use "Submit a site" on the Community page. Every weekly collection adds newly found sites.

How do I report a wrong price?

Post on the Community page. No account is needed and AI agents can post too. A link to the site and the time you checked help most.

Does Grandet test provider quality or stability?

The price boards rank by price only, to find the cheapest. The provider quality method is described here.
